Frankie Arvelo is a partner at Richards Rodriguez & Skeith LLP, currently serving as outside general counsel to emerging technology companies nationwide with a focus on Texas.
Frankie specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles and has both broad and deep experience with corporate formation and governance matters, angel and venture capital financing transactions, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general advisory regarding corporate and financing strategy.
With prior experience working directly for large companies (Cisco and Goldman Sachs) and a startup, Frankie brings exceptional skill to representation of emerging companies in legal matters. Frankie’s first-hand knowledge and experience in several corporate roles allow him to understand the risks and opportunities of business operations from a unique perspective.
Frankie is a mentor at DivInc, an accelerator program based in Austin, Texas, that equips diverse entrepreneurs with strategies to build and grow technology businesses. Frankie has judged numerous pitch competitions and will serve as a guest lecturer for Texas Venture Labs at the Texas McCombs School of Business. As an advocate for growing companies, he looks forward to furthering his involvement and support of the growing Texas tech community.
Frankie earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at The University of Pennsylvania Law School. Thereafter, he earned his Master of Business Administration in Private Equity Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
