Anne Derrig joined Richards Rodriguez & Skeith LLP in August 2019 and focuses on business and employment litigation matters. She graduated from The University of Texas School of Law in May 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a law clerk at Richards Rodriguez & Skeith, supporting the litigation team.
As a law student, Anne had the opportunity to spend a semester-in-practice in Washington, D.C. clerking full-time for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Senator Dianne Feinstein. She also spent a year clerking for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas.
Prior to attending law school, Anne acquired a Master of Arts in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and spent several years teaching English at the collegiate and high school levels.
While she grew up in Chicago, Anne has been in Texas long enough to have, one, formed strong opinions on all matters particular to Texas—such as breakfast tacos—and, two, adopted a dog named Trap. She enjoys spending time outside in the amazing Austin climate and reading long-form journalism on topics that are new to her.
